The Son Granot Rural Hotel is an estate that stands out when passing through Es Castell. The main house was built in around 1860, and behind its striking façade are 8 rooms and several common areas. In what was once the cattle shed, located to the south of the main house, we find 6 additional rooms.

In 2021, the Son Granot Rural Hotel became part of the group Jardí de ses Bruixes Collection, thus coming to form part of the historical architectural heritage destined for recovery and refurbishment, in accordance with our philosophy of integration with the island and its history.

The estate includes gardens, fields, groves, a large threshing circle, the old cattle shed, a cistern, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a trail that follows the estate’s entire circumference, a vegetable garden, an aromatic herb garden, an orchard and the wonderful main house with fantastic views in every direction. From our first days at Son Granot, we have been substituting invasive plant species with autochthonous species that are better adapted to the habitat and require lower water consumption.

Son Granot is a tiny paradise just steps from Maó, Es Castell and Sant Lluís. Both in the countryside and near the heart of the action, it’s a perfectly comfortable and versatile holiday destination. All with the utmost respect for the environment: local and seasonal cuisine, ecological cleaning services and amenities and efficient resource management all serve as proof.

“Son Granot is one of those heartfelt projects through which, once again, we feel we are on a sort of mission to recover places from our memories, historic sites, and return their soul and dignity by refurbishing them and opening them to the world.”
