Ses Barques des Grau is a small family boat-rental business created in 2020. Both my son, Jaume Maria, and myself, Paulino Maria, have spent our lives in unison with the sea, both out at sea and in Es Grau, where we were born and reside. Currently, our work involves showcasing for our clients the spectacular natural landscape that surrounds us, the Albufera des Grau Nature Park, the core area of the Menorca Biosphere Reserve.

We have 6 six small pleasure boats equipped with depth gauges and GPS. Users must simply follow the route seen on their screen that will take them on a visit to the great diversity of the area’s unspoilt beaches and coves. For us, caring for the environment, the surroundings and our waters is fundamental, which is why we promote responsible and safe boating practices. With each client, we carry out an informative 20-30 minute outing to provide details on anchoring areas, the features of the area flora and fauna and best boating practices they must bear in mind at all times.

Protection of our surrounding environment is what makes our way of life a reality. Our love for this sea and this land are the basis of our deep commitment to its care. We collaborate with GOB Menorca in annual beach cleaning events and in the protection of posidonia seagrass. We use ecological products to clean our boats, and we share all these values with those who decide to set sail with us.
