ABOUT RESTAURANT SANT JOAN DE BINISSAIDA

MEET THE CENTRAL FIGURES

Roberta Rolón

Director

The restaurant at Sant Joan de Binissaida is the gastronomic branch of the project that the Quintana Seguí family initiated in 1994 with the acquisition of the farm of the same name. Deeply convinced by the value of the land’s fruits, they aimed to capture their love for Menorca also through their restaurant, and have thus opted to trust this mission to the Menorcan group Ses Forquilles.

The principles cooked up on the Sant Joan de Binissaida burners achieve an ideal balance thanks to the vision of the Ses Forquilles group, whose primary strengths include top quality and knowledge of local island produce. In such, the restaurant’s menu is a true expression of Menorcan and Mediterranean cuisine, where products from land and sea are splashed with the farm’s own olive oil. This is not however the only product that comes directly from the Sant Joan de Binissaida farm. And any sourced produce is acquired from local suppliers, thus ensuring excellent results in every dish.

Apart from their purely gastronomic offer, the Sant Joan de Binissaida restaurant provides guests with an immersive experience in a purely Mediterranean setting that typifies Menorca through its different dining areas. The terrace, from which the estate’s architecture can be fully appreciated, and the pergola, with views of the courtyard and the mouth of the port of Maó, as the perfect evening backdrop.

“We are once again looking to the land to find the very best it has to offer. And then serve it you.”

ROBERTA ROLÓN, DIRECTOR OF SANT JOAN DE BINISSAIDA
